			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For me this painting is a truly abstract landscape composed of fleeting mental impressions collected from aeroplane trips taken throughout several periods of my life.</p>
<p>More than any of my landscapes to date, its creation relied on a loosely guided process of allowing water to interact as an eroding force. For this painting I explored new methods of mark-making that were free of my actually touching the painting physically by using directed streams of water to interact with the medium.</p>
