Living downtown by the market, as you can imagine, that there’s not a lot of landscapes to see. To put it mildly, it’s a made desert of tarmac and concrete. It’s probably why I so enjoy Walter Gibson’s “Sweet Pea” (PDF Link) fountain down by the Kitchener Market. It evokes many things, but at night it takes on a distinctly otherworldly appearance.
